The game got a great performance boost from crossfire however anytime my fps gets near or above 60 fps I have huge amounts of screen tearing. Torment: Tides of Numera, STRAFE, and The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls.
Has anyone run into this issue or have any clue how to fix it? I can't find anything online where anyone is having the same problem. Massive screen tearing in Fallout 4 only at 60 fps and above using crossfire 290x 8GB on 16.2 hotfix As the title says I am having issues running crossfire in fallout 4 under the new drivers. The only thing I haven't done is try a different monitor or a TV which I will try tonight, I am super bummed because I am loving the game but I just can't keep playing it with this happening it is very distracting and makes aiming while moving a chore. I booted up a couple of other FPS games just to makes sure it wasn't something with my setup but everything else seems fine I ran around Bioshock Infinite and it was smooth as could be. It is like everything is vibrating not like the plates and garbage strewn about are moving it looks/feels almost like some kind of weird input lag but it happens on Controller and M & K no difference whatsoever. The whole article helps at home in Sanctuary Hills, but is not enough. As I raise the movement sensitivity it gets worse and sometimes causes the game to feel like it is hitching but it isn't its really hard to look at and seems worse indoors. I literally thought I was going insane but I have now proven it happens at any settings, from Low to Ultra I have even turned off the in-game V-sync and used the Nvidia Control Panel to force it to stay at 60 and still no difference. Getting some sort of screen tearing/texture flickering problem while settlement building - posted in Fallout 4 Mod Troubleshooting: Video of the problem: I use the Transfer settlements and it tells me my sanctuary has 5000+ objects in it, I noticed some sort of tearing or flickering around the 4000 object mark. When I look around while walking everything "shakes" almost like horizontal screen tearing but that isn't what it looks like, it only happens while I am walking and turning the camera at the same time if I walk back and forth without looking around it doesn't happen if I run in a straight line it looks fine. I am about 13 hours into Fallout 4 on PC and I have really been enjoying it but I am having a major issue that I just can't fix.
